Can Real Estate Professionals Take Your Classes?
Yes! Although our courses are college-level classes are designed for our degree program in real estate, many of them may be taken on a non-credit basis by practicing real estate professionals who wish to enhance their professional skills. Plus, many of these classes are approved for continuing education credit by the Kansas Real Estate Commission. All of these non-credit courses are available for a $750 flat fee.
Current Classes
Fall 2023 classes start on Monday, August 21 and run through December 14. The following classes are available for professionals this fall semester:
- RE 438 – Real Estate Law (CRN 17359)
Time: Wednesdays, 7:05-9:45 p.m.

Time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:00-9:15 a.m.

Note: This class assumes you have prior background with time value of money theory and calculations - RE 614 – Real Estate Appraisal (CRN 17361)

- Make sure you are admitted to WSU and your file is active.
- If you have never been a student at WSU, apply for admission as a non-degree student at https://slate.wichita.edu/register/realestatembt.
- If you have previously taken classes at WSU, confirm that your file is active at https://www.wichita.edu/services/registrar/reactivation.php#reactivate
- Once you have been admitted to WSU and your file is activated, you can enroll.
- Go to https://ssbprod.wichita.edu/StudentRegistrationSsb/ssb/registration and select “Register/Drop/View My Schedule.”
- Log in using your MyWSU ID and password.
- Enroll in the class you want using the CRN (class record number) listed above. Make sure you use the CRNs listed on this page in order to receive the proper pricing for these classes.
