Real Estate Development

This program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in property development or managing their own company.

A Major in Entrepreneurship with an Emphasis in Real Estate requires 24 hours beyond the College of Business core as follows:

Required courses (18 hours)

ENTR 440 – New Venture Feasibility Analysis 3 hours
ENTR 455 – Entrepreneurial Finance 3 hours
ENTR 620 – Growing and Managing an Entrepreneurial Firm 3 hours
ENTR 668 – New Venture Development 3 hours
RE 310 – Principles of Real Estate 3 hours
RE 619 – Urban Land Development 3 hours

Electives (6 hours)*

Six hours of upper-division (300 or above) Real Estate courses 6 hours

* No more than 3 credit hours of RE 481 (cooperative education) may be used to satisfy the elective component of this degree.
