Real Estate Development
The major in entrepreneurship with an emphasis in real estateĀ is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in property development or managing their own company.
A Major in Entrepreneurship with an Emphasis in Real Estate requires 24 hours beyond the College of Business core as follows:
Required courses (18 hours)
- ENTR 440 – New Venture Feasibility Analysis
- ENTR 455 – Entrepreneurial Finance
- ENTR 668 – New Venture Development
- RE 310 – Principles of Real Estate
- RE 619 – Urban Land Development
One of the following:
- ENTR 453 – Digital Entrepreneurship
- ENTR 460 – Corporate Entrepreneurship: Initiating and Sustaining Innovation
Electives (12 hours)
- Six hours of upper-division (300 or above) Real Estate courses
Note: RE 481/ RE 481N may not be used to satisfy the elective component of this degree.
