In August 2008, the most recent month for which data are available, 1,795 deeds, 1,889 mortgages, and 182 foreclosures were reported. In comparison to August 2007, the numbers represent a 17.5% decrease in deeds, a 23.1% decrease in mortgages, and a 9.5% decrease in the number of foreclosures.

For the first 8 months of the year, deeds were down 18.7%, mortgages were down 10.1%, and foreclosures were up 4.6% over the same period the year before.
