Home Price Indices
The WSU Home Price Indices (HPIs) measure overall home price appreciation in the Wichita area by taking into account differences in the physical characteristics of homes (e.g., size, # of bathrooms, neighborhood, etc.) that sell at different points in time. We have created separate indices for Sedgwick County as a whole and six different sectors of Wichita.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) also generates home price indices for major metropolitan areas and states across the country, using data from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  We have collected the FHFA HPI for each of the metropolitan areas in Kansas and made them available to you here.
