Based on the most recent data released by the U.S. Office of Federal Housing Oversight, home prices in Kansas City fell by 2.5% last quarter, when compared with the same quarter in the previous year. This is in comparison to a 0.5% increase statewide and a decrease of 4.5% nationwide.

On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the average price of homes in Kansas City increased by 0.1% last quarter over the previous quarter. For the same period the State posted a 0.4% increase while the Nation as a whole decreased by 0.2%.
