Jason Van Sickle joined the WSU Center for Real Estate in March of 2008.  His primary role is to support Dr. Longhofer in his vision to expand the scope of the Center's focus from an authority on the Wichita-area real estate markets to a State wide focus, and eventually to covering the entire region.  Jason's responsibilities include research & analysis, marketing & PR, strategic organizational planning, and working to build relationships between the Center for Real Estate and individuals, businesses, and organizations within the community.

Prior to joining the Center for Real Estate, Jason worked in both the commercial and residential real estate markets.  His experience in real estate includes work in the fields of commercial real estate appraisal, commercial development, residential development, property management, and real estate market research and analysis.  He remains an active member of the local real estate community as a development partner with Old Town developer Dave Burk, as a consultant to area real estate developers through his company Research & Market Planning Services, and as Partner and Senior Financial Analyst for the investment group Mason Faran Capital Investments.
